ARTIST STATEMENT
Every phase of my career has been challenging, fun and an important part of what I am doing today. My work is often inspired by the local landscape or in my travels as an artist. My images are contemporary impressionism, created by applying the paint to gallery wrapped canvas with a brush or palette knife. In order to best capture a feeling of light, depth and tranquility, vivid colors and texture are used.
